Low chrome alloy wear-resistant steel ball refers to the steel ball with chromium content ≤ 3.0% and carbon content between 1.80% and 3.30%. The national standard requires that the hardness (HRC) of low chromium balls must be ≥45 degrees or more to ensure its quality of use. Low chrome steel ball is an important grinding body in ball mill, which is widely used in many industries such as , cement and building materials, thermal power generation, flue gas desulfurization and so on. Its preparation methods include medium frequency electric furnace melting, metal mold or sand casting.
